On Friday night between 7pm and 9pm. come to the Alpine Cycling Club Headquarters, Coronation Ave, Bright. Follow the signs from the centre of Bright. You will get a "showbag" full of sponsors product, but most importantly it will include your race numbers and transponder. How do I enter the race?

Entries for the 2009 event have now closed.

How good to I have to be?

The SP AusNet Tour of Bright is a tough race. The two road stages have major climbs in them, so make sure you have done some climbing training in preparation for the event. The event is graded, so choose the grade that best suits your ability.

What grade should I ride in? / How does the handicapper know which grade to put me in?

On the entry form it allows you to "request" a grade to ride in. Along with that your are asked to fill in recent results so the handicapper has an idea of your current form. If it is your first road race we recommend you enter C Grade.

Juniors - Under 19's are eligable to enter the event (DOB 1991-92). Younger than 1992 are unable to enter the event.

Masters - "Important Change" Masters grading will again be based on your age. You will race according to your age group category eg. Masters 1/2/3 - 4/5 - 6+.

Can I change Grades?

Once you have entered, check the entry list on the CycleSport Victoria website to see which grade the handicapper has put you in. If you wish to change grades you must contact CycleSport Victoria before race weekend to change grades. Follow the "contact" link above to contact CycleSport Victoria.

Are there spares vehicles I can put my extra wheels in?

No, neutral spares are supplied by SRAM. However if you find yourself falling off the pace you will no longer be covered by the the neutral spares motorbikes. Ensure you carry your own spare tube and pump. If you have a major failure there is a Sag Wagon that follows the last rider on the course.
